The Eagle sculpture masterfully captures the moment of the hunt, with the eagle firmly grasping a fish in its talons, just after catching it in mid-flight. The talons, made of stainless steel, dig into the fish, evoking the strength and precision of a predator in action. The eagle, with its wings fully extended, conveys power and skill, while the fish, suspended in the air, remains held by its tail, symbolizing the perfect capture in nature.

The sculpture’s asymmetrical base is designed to simulate moving water, with undulations that emphasize the sense of the eagle having just lifted its prey from the water. This metal structure provides stability and balance, even though the eagle is supported only by the fish. The dynamic and bold design not only captures the essence of the hunting eagle but also the interaction between the bird and its aquatic environment.

The detail of the eagle’s legs is another key element: the skin of the legs is made of copper, highlighting the texture of this small unfeathered area, contrasting with the metallic finish of the talons and the rest of the sculpture. The feathers have been individually crafted with meticulous attention, achieving a semi-realistic design that blends the authenticity of the plumage with the recycled automotive parts—such as doors and hoods—that form the eagle’s wings. The eyes are also made of copper, adding a refined touch to the piece.

The sculpture is painted in the natural colors of the eagle and has undergone an aging process to give it character and depth, emphasizing the textures and details of the recycled metal. This work not only represents the act of the hunt but also symbolizes the connection between nature and recycling, merging realism with industrial aesthetics in a unique piece of sustainable art.
